Facundo Buonanotte, the 20-year-old attacking midfielder currently plying his trade at Brighton & Hove Albion, is reportedly on the radar of Chelsea.
The Argentine-Italian has had an impressive season with Brighton, who sit comfortably in 8th place in the Premier League with 61 points.
Chelsea, who are currently 4th in the Premier League with 69 points, are looking to bolster their attacking options and Buonanotte seems to fit the bill. Standing at 174 cm and weighing 66 kg, the young midfielder has shown considerable promise and has a market value of around €20.00m, which translates to approximately 150 million DKK, accounting for variance.
The transfer window is currently open until August 31, providing a narrow window for Chelsea to secure Buonanotte’s services, provided both clubs can agree on a deal. However, with his contract at Brighton set to expire on 30th June 2028, the Seagulls might be inclined to cash in on their asset now rather than risk losing him for free later. As always, the decision will come down to the player’s ambitions and the two clubs’ negotiation skills.
