Ali Jasim, the 21-year-old left winger currently playing for Como in Serie A, Italy, is potentially on the move to Zakho SC in the Iraq Stars League.
The Iraqi national has played two matches this season for Como, who are currently sitting mid-table in 10th place with 49 points.
Despite not having scored or provided any assists this season, Jasim’s potential is recognized with a market value of €550k, equivalent to approximately 4.1 million DKK. Standing at 178 cm and weighing 74 kg, Jasim brings a sturdy presence to the left wing.
The transfer, if it goes through, will represent a homecoming for Jasim, who will be returning to his native Iraq. However, it’s important to note that his contract with Como does not expire until June 30, 2027, which could potentially complicate the transfer proceedings.
The transfer window is currently open, closing on August 31. This gives both clubs ample time to negotiate and finalize the deal. However, as always in football, the situation is fluid and until the transfer is confirmed, Jasim remains a Como player.
