Young Argentine defender Tomás Palacios may be on his way to a new club.
The 22-year-old center back, who currently plays for Serie A club Inter, has been linked with a possible transfer to FC Basel in the Swiss Super League.
Palacios, who has a market value of around 37 million Danish kroner, has yet to play for Inter this season. However, he has an impressive physique at 196 cm and 80 kg, which makes him a strong player in defense.
Inter are currently in second place in Serie A with 77 points, while FC Basel lead the Super League with 67 points. A transfer to FC Basel could therefore give Palacios the opportunity to play in the UEFA Champions League qualification if Basel manages to hold on to their leading position.
The transfer window reopens on July 1st, so a possible move could become a reality in the coming months. Palacios’ contract with Inter runs until June 30th, 2025, so a move would likely require a transfer fee.
