Belgian Centre-Back, Koni De Winter, currently plying his trade at Genoa in Italy’s Serie A, is reportedly on the radar of AC Milan.
The 23-year-old defender, valued at approximately 164 million Danish Kroner (€22.00m), has been in fine form this season, featuring in 25 matches and netting three goals for Genoa, who sit at 13th place in the league table with 43 points.
AC Milan, currently 8th in Serie A with 63 points, is said to be keen on bolstering their defence and De Winter’s potential addition could be a significant step in that direction. Standing at 188 cm and weighing 74 kg, De Winter’s physical presence and aerial prowess make him an attractive prospect for the Rossoneri.
The transfer window, which reopened on July 1, is set to close on August 31. With today’s date being August 10, 2025, Milan will need to act quickly if they are to secure De Winter’s services ahead of other potential suitors. It remains to be seen whether a move to the San Siro is on the cards for the young Belgian. His current contract with Genoa is set to expire on June 30, 2028.
