Italian centre-back Pietro Comuzzo, currently playing for Serie A’s Fiorentina, is rumoured to be in talks for a possible transfer to Manchester United of the Premier League.
The 20-year-old defender, standing at 185cm and weighing 75kg, has made a significant impact in the current season with 33 appearances and a goal to his name.
Comuzzo’s potential move comes at a time when Fiorentina is performing well in Serie A, currently holding the 6th position with 65 points, while Manchester United is in a less favourable 15th place in the Premier League with 42 points. The transfer could provide a much-needed boost to the English club’s defensive line.
The market value of the young Italian is approximately €25.00m, which equates to around 186 million Danish Krone, even after accounting for variance. However, the final transfer fee will be subject to negotiations between the two clubs.
As of today, August 2, 2025, the transfer window is open until August 31, providing ample time for the clubs to finalise the deal. Given Comuzzo’s impressive performance this season, his potential transfer to Manchester United will undoubtedly be one to watch.
