Italian Centre-Back, Nosa Edward Obaretin, is reportedly on the verge of a transfer from Napoli to FC Empoli.
The 22-year-old, currently valued at around €650k (approximately 4.8 million DKK), is a promising talent in Serie A, the top tier of Italian football.
Obaretin’s current club, Napoli, is performing exceptionally well, holding the first position in Serie A with 82 points, which guarantees a spot in the Champions League’s league phase. However, despite Napoli’s success, Obaretin has not had much game time this season, with no appearances, goals, or assists to his name, as per the records of the current season.
The potential move to FC Empoli, a Serie B club, could offer Obaretin more opportunities for first-team football and further his professional development. The transfer window, which opened on July 1, closes at the end of this month, August 31. As of today, August 4, 2025, there is still ample time for the transfer to be finalized.
