Ismaël Bennacer, the 27-year-old Algerian defensive midfielder currently playing for Italy’s AC Milan, could be on the move to Turkish club Besiktas.
Bennacer, who stands at 175 cm and weighs 70 kg, has had a quiet season with AC Milan, with no goals or assists in his six appearances this season.
AC Milan currently sits in 8th place in Serie A, with 63 points. While Bennacer’s potential move to Besiktas could see him playing in the Süper Lig, it is important to note that the transfer window is currently open, having reopened on July 1, and will close on August 31. This gives both clubs ample time to negotiate and finalise a potential transfer.
Given Bennacer’s contract with AC Milan is set to expire on June 30, 2027, any transfer would likely involve a significant fee. However, as is always the case in football, nothing is certain until the transfer window closes.
