Mexican defensive midfielder Edson Álvarez, currently playing for West Ham United in the Premier League, is reportedly on the radar of Turkish Süper Lig side Fenerbahce.
The 27-year-old has been an important figure for West Ham, playing 28 matches this season and providing one assist, despite the team’s current 14th place standing in the league.
Álvarez, who stands at 187 cm and weighs 73 kg, has been valued at €25.00m, translating to approximately 186 million DKK, considering the market variance. With his contract at West Ham set to expire in 2028, a move to Fenerbahce could potentially offer the Mexican international a new challenge.
However, any possible transfer will have to wait until the transfer window reopens. As of today, August 20, 2025, the window is closed and will not reopen until January 1. Until then, both clubs and the player will have to weigh their options carefully.
