Tyler Morton, the 22-year-old defensive midfielder from Liverpool FC, is reportedly on the radar of French Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyon.
The English player, who stands 182 cm tall and weighs 75 kg, has yet to make an appearance this season for Liverpool, currently leading the Premier League with 84 points.
Morton’s contract with Liverpool is set to expire on June 30, 2030, but a move to Lyon could be on the cards before then. The player’s market value is estimated at €7.00m, which is approximately 52 million Danish krone, although the final transfer fee could be lower due to market variances.
The transfer window, which opened on July 1, closes at the end of this month, on August 31. Olympique Lyon will need to act swiftly if they are to secure Morton’s services for the upcoming season. Despite his lack of game time this season, Morton’s potential has been recognised, and a move to Lyon could provide the young midfielder with the opportunity to further develop his skills.
