Greek goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos, currently plying his trade at Newcastle United, could be set for a move to Spain’s Sevilla FC.
The 31-year-old has been a steady presence between the sticks for the Magpies, who are currently sitting comfortably in 5th place in the Premier League, a position which secures them a spot in the Champions League.
Despite his solid performances, rumours are circulating that Vlachodimos could be on his way to Sevilla FC. With the transfer window open until the end of August, there’s ample time for a deal to be struck.
Vlachodimos, standing tall at 188 cm and weighing 78 kg, has a market value of approximately €5.00m, which equates to around 37 million DKK, although the final transfer fee could be slightly lower due to market variances.
The move would represent a new challenge for the Greek international, who would be swapping the high-intensity of the Premier League for the technical demands of LaLiga. However, with his contract at Newcastle not set to expire until 2025, any potential transfer would likely require substantial negotiation.
