Spanish defensive midfielder Marc Casadó, currently of FC Barcelona, is reportedly on the radar of English club West Ham United.
The 21-year-old, who has a market value of approximately €30.00m (around 223.5m DKK, accounting for variance), has caught the attention of the Hammers with his impressive performances in LaLiga.
The potential move could be a significant boost for West Ham, who are currently sitting in 14th place in the Premier League with 43 points. The London-based club is no doubt looking to bolster its midfield defence, and Casadó could be just the solution.
The transfer could take place in the upcoming transfer window, which opens on July 1 and closes on August 31. However, any potential deal would need to be finalised before today’s date of August 21, or the clubs would have to wait until the next window in January.
Casadó’s current contract with Barcelona does not expire until June 30, 2028, meaning a substantial fee would likely be required to secure his services. However, given his age and potential, such an investment could prove to be a savvy long-term decision for West Ham.
