Polish centre-back Jan Ziolkowski, currently playing for Legia Warszawa in Ekstraklasa, is potentially on the move to Italian Serie A side AS Roma.
At just 20 years of age, Ziolkowski has shown immense promise, with a market value of around €4.00m, translating to approximately 30 million DKK, even after accounting for a few million in variance.
AS Roma, currently sitting 5th in Serie A with 69 points and a secured spot in the Europa League, could certainly benefit from the young Polish player’s skills and potential. The transfer, if it goes through, will be a significant step up for Ziolkowski, who will get the chance to play in one of Europe’s top leagues and showcase his talent on a larger stage.
The current transfer window, which opened on July 1, will close on August 31. This gives both clubs ample time to negotiate terms and finalize the transfer. Ziolkowski’s contract with Legia Warszawa is set to expire on May 31, 2028, which means that any transfer fee will go directly to the Polish club.
