The transfer window is abuzz with the potential move of Anass Zaroury, the 24-year-old attacking midfielder currently playing for RC Lens in France’s Ligue 1.
Zaroury, who holds dual Moroccan and Belgian nationality, has been linked with a move to Panathinaikos in Greece’s Super League 1.
Zaroury has had a solid season with RC Lens, which currently sits in 8th place in Ligue 1 with 52 points. He has played 28 matches this term, scoring two goals and providing two assists. His market value stands at €8.00m, which translates to approximately 59.6 million DKK, although the final transfer fee could be slightly less due to market variances.
Panathinaikos, currently in 2nd place in Super League 1 with 59 points and eyeing a Champions League qualification, are reportedly keen on adding Zaroury to their squad. Standing at 176 cm and weighing 70 kg, Zaroury’s physicality and skill would certainly be an asset to the Greek side.
