Nigerian centre-forward Tolu Arokodare, currently playing for Belgium’s KRC Genk, is reportedly eyed by English Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers for a potential transfer.
The 24-year-old has shown remarkable form in the Jupiler Pro League, scoring 21 goals and providing 5 assists in 40 appearances this season.
Arokodare, standing at 197 cm and weighing 97 kg, has proven to be a formidable presence on the field. His market value is estimated at €18.00m, which translates to approximately 134 million Danish Krone, taking into account some variance.
The transfer window, which closes today, will reopen on January 1, providing an opportunity for the Wolves to secure the promising Nigerian player. If the transfer materialises, it could significantly bolster the attacking options for the English club. However, with Arokodare’s contract with Genk running until 2027, any potential deal would require substantial negotiations.
