Ghanaian central midfielder, Abu Francis, currently playing for Cercle Brugge in Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League, is reportedly on the radar of FC Toulouse from France’s Ligue 1.
The 24-year-old has a market value of €1.80m, which translates roughly to 13.4 million DKK, a figure that could be slightly lower due to market variance.
Francis’ current contract with Cercle Brugge is set to expire on June 30, 2026, which may influence the transfer negotiations. Cercle Brugge is currently performing well in the Jupiler Pro League, sitting in 2nd place with 53 points, a position that qualifies them for the Champions League. However, a move to FC Toulouse, currently 10th in Ligue 1, could provide Francis with a new challenge and exposure in a more competitive league.
The transfer window is currently open, having reopened on July 1 and due to close on August 31. This leaves ample time for both clubs to negotiate and finalize a potential transfer. With today’s date being August 2, 2025, the transfer could be imminent.
It’s important to note that no official statements have been released by either club regarding the transfer of Abu Francis.
