Slovenian Centre-Forward, Benjamin Sesko, currently playing for RB Leipzig in Germany’s Bundesliga, is potentially on the move to England’s Premier League.
The 22-year-old, valued at around €70.00m (approximately 520 million DKK), is said to be in the sights of Manchester United.
RB Leipzig, currently holding the 7th position in Bundesliga with 51 points, may be looking to cash in on Sesko, whose contract with them doesn’t expire until June 30, 2029. The striker has been a valuable asset to the German team, contributing significantly to their performance.
On the other hand, Manchester United, currently in 15th place in the Premier League with 42 points, could certainly benefit from Sesko’s attacking prowess. The acquisition of the young Slovenian could provide the much-needed boost to their forward line and potentially improve their standing in the league.
The transfer window, which opened on July 1, is set to close on August 31. With today’s date being August 8, 2025, both clubs still have time to negotiate and finalise the transfer. However, no official statements have been released by either club regarding the potential transfer. As always, the final decision will be determined by the clubs and the player himself.
