German centre-forward Maximilian Beier, currently with Borussia Dortmund, is reportedly on the radar of English Premier League club Brentford.
Beier, 22, has been a key player for Dortmund this season, netting 8 goals and providing 5 assists in 29 matches.
Dortmund is currently occupying the 4th place in Bundesliga with 57 points, which puts them in a promising position for Champions League qualification. Brentford, on the other hand, is positioned at 10th in the Premier League with 56 points. A move to Brentford would certainly offer Beier a new challenge and the opportunity to play in a different league.
With the transfer window closing on August 31, there is still time for Brentford to secure the services of Beier. However, it’s important to note that the player’s contract with Dortmund does not expire until 2029, which could potentially complicate negotiations. At 183 cm and 72 kg, Beier would bring considerable physical presence to Brentford’s forward line, along with his proven goal-scoring ability.
