Brazilian central midfielder Douglas Luiz, currently playing for Nottingham Forest in the Premier League, is reportedly on the radar of Italian Serie A club Juventus.
The 27-year-old’s market value stands at €30.00m, which equates to approximately DKK 223 million, considering a slight variance.
Luiz’s current contract with Nottingham Forest is set to expire on June 30, 2029. However, with the transfer window open until August 31, 2025, there is ample time for negotiations to take place.
Nottingham Forest is currently holding the 7th place in the Premier League with 65 points, which puts them in the Conference League Qualification. Meanwhile, Juventus is in a more favourable position, sitting at 4th place in Serie A with 70 points, which places them in the Promotion – Champions League (League phase).
The potential transfer of Luiz could be seen as a strategic move by Juventus to strengthen their midfield, especially considering the performance of Nicolás Martín Domínguez, who, despite playing 34 matches this season, has scored no goals and provided only one assist.
As the transfer window progresses, the football world will be keenly watching to see if Juventus will secure the services of Douglas Luiz.
