American centre-forward Milan Iloski, currently plying his trade with FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark’s Superliga, could be set for a move back to his home country with Philadelphia Union reportedly showing interest.
The 26-year-old has been a part of the Nordsjaelland setup that currently occupies the 5th spot in the league with 46 points.
Iloski, standing at 180 cm and weighing 79 kg, has made 16 appearances this season, netting twice. Despite not providing any assists, his performances have evidently caught the eye of the Philadelphia Union scouts. His market value is estimated at €400k, approximately 3 million DKK, which would make him a cost-effective addition to the MLS side.
With the transfer window currently open until August 31, there’s plenty of time for the Union to finalize a deal for Iloski, whose contract with FC Nordsjaelland runs until December 31, 2027. As it stands, a return to the United States seems a tangible possibility for the striker, but as always in the world of football transfers, only time will tell.
