Croatian left winger, Josip Brekalo, currently with ACF Fiorentina, could be on the move to Spanish side Real Oviedo, as the transfer window remains open until August 31.
At 27, Brekalo has yet to make an appearance this season for Fiorentina, who are currently sitting comfortably in 6th place in Italy’s Serie A with 65 points.
Despite his lack of game time this season, Brekalo’s market value remains steady at €3.30m, which converts to approximately 24.6 million DKK. It’s expected that Real Oviedo will negotiate for a slightly lower transfer fee, taking advantage of Brekalo’s current situation at Fiorentina.
Standing at 175 cm and weighing 70 kg, Brekalo’s physicality and experience could be a valuable asset for Real Oviedo. However, it’s important to note that any potential transfer would be subject to the agreement of both clubs and the player himself. With his contract at Fiorentina expiring in 2027, it remains to be seen if the Croatian will make the move to LaLiga.
