Moroccan centre-forward Hamza Igamane could be on the move from Rangers to LOSC Lille, if the transfer buzz is to be believed.
The 22-year-old, presently plying his trade in Scotland’s Premiership, has been a key player for Rangers, who are currently sitting in second place with 66 points.
Igamane has had an impressive season, featuring in 33 matches and netting 12 goals, along with providing 1 assist. His performance has not gone unnoticed, with Lille, currently fifth in France’s Ligue 1 with 60 points, reportedly keen on adding him to their roster.
The move, if it materialises, would see Igamane swap the Premiership for the UEFA Europa League. Given his market value of €7.00m (approximately 52 million DKK with some variance), Lille would be making a significant investment in the young Moroccan.
The transfer window, which opened on July 1, is set to close on August 31. With today’s date being August 26, 2025, both clubs would need to act swiftly to secure the deal. It remains to be seen if Igamane will make the move to Lille, but one thing is clear – his performance this season has put him firmly in the spotlight.
