Greek left-back Konstantinos Tsimikas, currently plying his trade with Liverpool, might be on the move to Olympique Marseille in the Ligue 1, France.
The 29-year-old defender, valued at approximately 134 million Danish Kroner, has been a solid presence for Liverpool, contributing to their current top position in the Premier League with 84 points.
Despite not finding the back of the net this season, Tsimikas has provided a key assist in his 18 appearances. His potential move to Marseille, currently second in Ligue 1 with 65 points, could bolster their defence and potentially elevate their position in the league.
The transfer window is open until August 31, 2025, providing ample time for the clubs to negotiate a deal. Tsimikas’ current contract with Liverpool runs until June 30, 2027, which means that a significant transfer fee could be involved.
Standing at 179 cm and weighing 77 kg, Tsimikas could be a valuable asset for Marseille with his experience and physical presence. However, the move is yet to be confirmed, and until then, he remains a key part of Liverpool’s squad.
