Brazilian central midfielder Douglas Luiz, currently with Juventus FC, is reportedly being eyed for a potential transfer to Nottingham Forest.
Luiz, 27, has played 19 matches in the current season for Juventus, which is presently 4th in Italy’s Serie A with 70 points.
Nottingham Forest, currently 7th in the Premier League with 65 points and in the Conference League Qualification, is looking to strengthen their midfield. The addition of Luiz could provide the necessary bolstering to their squad.
Luiz, who is 175 cm tall and weighs 66 kg, has a market value of €30.00m, which is approximately 223 million DKK, potentially making this a significant investment for Nottingham Forest.
With the transfer window closing on August 31, there is limited time for this deal to materialize. As it stands, Luiz’s contract with Juventus is set to expire on June 30, 2029, leaving plenty of time for negotiations. However, the final decision will likely come down to the player’s preference and the two clubs’ agreement.
