Jamaican right winger Leon Bailey, currently plying his trade with Aston Villa in the English Premier League, could be heading to Italy’s Serie A, with AS Roma reportedly interested in securing his services.

Bailey has made 24 appearances for Aston Villa this season, finding the back of the net once and providing two assists. Despite his modest stats, his market value stands at €28.00m, approximately 208 million Danish kroner, reflecting his importance to the team.
AS Roma, currently 5th in Serie A with 69 points and also heading to the Europa League, are believed to be keen on bolstering their attacking options with Bailey’s pace and creativity. Given the current transfer window timeline, the move could materialize either in the winter window opening on January 1 or the summer window commencing on July 1.
At 178 cm and 77 kg, Bailey combines physical strength with technical skills, making him a valuable asset for any team. His contract with Aston Villa is set to expire on 30th June 2027, which could factor into any potential transfer negotiations.
