Arnaud Kalimuendo, the 23-year-old Centre-Forward currently playing for Stade Rennais in France’s Ligue 1, is reportedly on the radar of Premier League club Nottingham Forest.
The French-DR Congolese striker, who is valued at around €22.00m (approximately 164m DKK), could be making a significant move to England in the near future.
Stade Rennais is presently holding the 9th position in Ligue 1 with 50 points. On the other hand, Nottingham Forest is doing relatively well in the Premier League, securing the 7th place with 65 points, which qualifies them for the Conference League. The potential transfer of Kalimuendo could be a strategic move for Nottingham Forest to bolster their attacking options.
As of today, August 14, 2025, the transfer window is open, providing an opportunity for the deal to be finalised. However, no official statements have been made by either clubs or the player himself. It’s worth noting that Kalimuendo’s contract with Stade Rennais is due to expire on June 30, 2027.
