Italian centre-forward Ciro Immobile, currently with Besiktas in Turkey’s Süper Lig, is reportedly on the radar of Bologna FC 1909, a Serie A club in Italy.
At 35, Immobile still holds a market value of €2.20m, which equates to around 16.4 million Danish Krone, even after subtracting a few million for variance.
Bologna FC 1909 is currently in a respectable 9th place in Serie A with 62 points, which puts them in a promising position for the upcoming Europa League. The potential addition of Immobile could further strengthen their squad and enhance their performance in the league.
The transfer window is currently open, having reopened on July 1 and set to close at the end of August. This gives both clubs ample time to negotiate and finalize the potential transfer. Immobile’s contract with Besiktas is set to expire on June 30, 2026, which means a transfer could potentially involve a considerable fee.
While no official statements have been made by either club, the transfer of Immobile to Bologna FC 1909 could certainly be a possibility worth keeping an eye on in the coming weeks.
