Argentinian attacking midfielder Claudio Echeverri is reportedly on the cusp of a move from Premier League club Manchester City to LaLiga side Girona.
At just 19 years old, Echeverri has already caught the attention of several top-flight clubs, with his market value currently standing at €18.00m, approximately 134 million DKK.
Echeverri, who has been with Manchester City since his youth years, has struggled to cement a regular place in the first team. This season, he has only made a single appearance, without registering a goal or an assist. Despite this, his potential is undeniable, and a move to Spain could provide him with the opportunity to gain much-needed experience and further develop his skills.
Manchester City, currently sitting third in the Premier League with 71 points, may see this as a strategic move, allowing Echeverri to mature as a player in a competitive league, while also freeing up some funds for future transfers.
