Emanuel Emegha, the 22-year-old centre-forward who currently plays for RC Strasbourg in France’s Ligue 1, is in the spotlight for a possible transfer to Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
Emegha, who has both Dutch and Nigerian nationality, has made a name for himself this season with 14 goals and 3 assists in 27 games for Strasbourg, who are currently in 6th place in Ligue 1 with 57 points.
Crystal Palace, currently 12th in the Premier League with 49 points, could significantly strengthen their attack with the addition of Emegha. At 195 cm and 82 kg, Emegha brings both physicality and goal scoring ability to the pitch, which could be an attractive combination for the English team.
The possible transfer will only take place when the transfer window reopens on July 1. Emegha’s current market value is around €20.00m, which is equivalent to approximately 150 million Danish kroner, but his final price will depend on negotiations between the two clubs.
